Shamshravish Rein is an Indian lawyer enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi with nearly 18 years of post-qualification experience in litigation, arbitration, mediation and dispute resolution. She regularly appears before the Supreme Court of India, various High Courts and has been appointed as Amicus Curiae by the Supreme Court of India reflecting the confidence reposed in her legal expertise and professional integrity.

Shamshravish is an Accredited Mediator and has been actively practicing mediation since 2019. She has successfully mediated over 3,000 matters across commercial, civil, consumer, matrimonial, family, Criminal, employment and other disputes involving diverse legal, commercial, and cultural backgrounds. She is recognized for her impartiality, practical problem-solving approach, effective communication and ability to facilitate durable, interest-based settlements in complex and high-value disputes.

She is certified as Accredited Mediator by the Mediation and Conciliation Project Committee (MCPC), Supreme Court of India, having completed mediation training at the Delhi Judicial Academy and is also certified as a Commercial Mediator by the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA), Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India.

She is also empanelled as an Arbitrator with the International and Domestic Arbitration Centre (IDAC), India and serves on the mediation panels of the Supreme Court Mediation Centre, Delhi High Court Legal Services Committee (specifically for Crime against Child & Women), National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission and the Delhi Mediation Centre.

Shamshravish has represented numerous government bodies, public sector undertakings, corporations, embassies, NGOs and international organizations. She previously served as Counsel for the Central Government of India before the Supreme Court for nearly six years. She has also served as a Jail Visiting Advocate for 5 years under the Delhi High Court Legal Services Committee promoting access to justice for prisoners in Jails. She is the Executive Director of the International Agro Mediation & Arbitration Centre (IAMAC), where she leads initiatives in specialised dispute resolution for the Agro sector including agriculture and food sectors, fostering international collaboration and promoting cross- border ADR mechanisms.

Committed to public service, she is also the Founder of Egalitarian, (NGO) a social justice initiative dedicated to legal awareness, access to justice and the empowerment of marginalized communities through legal education and pro bono initiatives. A recognized legal commentator, she regularly appears on national television news channels to provide expert analysis and commentary on significant legal, constitutional, arbitration and public policy issues. In 2014, Shamshravish was elected as one of the youngest Executive Members of the Executive Committee of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA), India. She is a former Executive Member (two terms) and Joint Treasurer of the Supreme Court Bar Association India. These leadership roles reflect her active contribution to the legal profession and the administration of one of India & premier bar associations.

Shamshravish is a member of the Supreme Court Bar Association-India, Delhi High Court Bar Association and the International Law Association, London. She is fluent in English and Hindi.
