Mehak Zaraq Bari is a conflict resolution specialist, accredited mediator and trainer with more than a decade of leadership experience in dispute resolution and legal education. Her mediation practice spans family, workplace, civil and commercial disputes, where she combines empathy with structure to help parties move towards practical, lasting solutions.

She is an accredited civil and commercial mediator (SIMI, IMI, CMC and ADR ODR International), an accredited workplace mediator (Crowther Mediation, UK and UAE) and a certified negotiator (ADR ODR International). She also holds a Diploma in Psychotherapy (CPCAB, UK) and is a UNESCO-certified teacher trainer in social and emotional learning. This grounding in both conflict resolution and mental health shapes her approach: she works with the emotional and human dynamics beneath a dispute as well as the issues on the table.

Mehak is co-founder and lead trainer of The ADR Initiative (ADRi), the pioneers of ADR in Pakistan. She serves as master trainer and curriculum specialist for ADRi's mediation and negotiation courses and heads the ADRi Think Tank. As a partner at SAZH Consulting LLP, she has led research and writing on ADR for projects supported by USAID and The Asia Foundation, covering trade dispute resolution, foreign direct investment and Pakistan's foreign exchange regime. Her work is informed by a long academic career. She has served as Head of Law at IVY College of Management Sciences and as Associate Director of International Programmes at Pakistan College of Law, has taught international human rights law at undergraduate and LLM level, and supervises dissertations for international universities including the University of London, Bedfordshire and Arden.).

Mehak holds an LLM in Human Rights Law from Queen Mary University of London and has published on women's access to justice, child protection and the development of ADR in Pakistan.
