Malak Elrouby

Malak El Rouby is a law graduate from Cairo University, Faculty of Law (English Section), and is currently pursuing an LL.M. in Private Law at Ain Shams University. She has a strong interest in mediation and alternative dispute resolution and is deeply committed to developing her skills in this field.

In addition to her legal education, Malak previously worked as a Teaching Assistant at the Egyptian Chinese University – Faculty of Law, where she assisted in delivering lectures, mentoring students, and supporting curriculum development. This experience enhanced her ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively.

She has also gained practical legal experience through internships at leading institutions such as Wadi Degla Holding, Yassin & Partners Law Firm, and GASCO (Egyptian Natural Gas Company). These internships allowed her to explore a variety of legal areas, including corporate and commercial law, compliance, and dispute resolution.

Malak also worked as a Junior Corporate Lawyer at EGO Consultants, where she was involved in advising clients on corporate structures, contracts, shareholder rights, and company formation. This role gave her hands-on exposure to the dynamics of corporate legal practice and client-focused legal problem-solving.

Although she has not yet completed a formal mediation training program, Malak is highly motivated to learn and contribute to this field. She is excited about joining The Mediation Hub’s community of rising mediators and looks forward to playing a role in promoting peaceful conflict resolution and a culture of dialogue across the MENA region.
