Farid Bin Hussain
Farid is a UK-trained senior lawyer with over 25 years of distinguished experience spanning government, private practice, and international markets. As Head of Procurement and Public Services Contracts at the Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department, he advises on complex, high-value, and pioneering projects of strategic importance to the Emirate, including the forthcoming Dubai International Mediation Centre. An ADR Center International Accredited Mediator and IMI Qualified Mediator, he combines expertise in corporate and commercial law, infrastructure, procurement, finance, and technology, with a proven record in restructuring, PPPs, IPOs, and cross-border transactions. His career highlights include serving as a senior partner at an international law firm, where he spearheaded its MENA and CIS expansion from Dubai, and as director of legal and corporate affairs at a pioneering digital certification entity in Malaysia. With dual grounding in civil and common law systems, Farid offers a unique blend of versatility, pragmatism, and forward-looking insight to navigating and solving complex legal and strategic challenges.
