Dr Aouni is a Legal Counsel as well a Trainer for Arbitrators at Kuwait Commercial Arbitration Center and Trainer in the Program for Mediation & Negotiation at the Community Service and Continuing Education Center (Qatar University)

Dr Aouni worked at Lusail University (Doha - Qatar) from 2020 – 2023 as Assistant Professor of Private Law, where he used to teach, inter alia, International Private Law, Commercial law and ADR (Arbitration and Mediation).

His majoring field is in international commercial arbitration and Mediation. In addition, Dr. Aouni has a broad commercial practice with a focus on construction, international business law, foreign investment and international commercial arbitration in the Middle East and North Africa. My particular expertise in matters relating to Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Syria. Including consulting on commercial transactions, strategic investments, joint ventures, and regulatory compliance as well matters involving state contracts, the recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments, employment law, and trade finance.

Dr. Aouni published many Articles about the recognition and enforcement of foreign judgements, ordre public and Arbitration questions in the Arab countries, especially related to the Law of the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Egypt.
