Beatrice Herrmann

Dr. Beatrice Herrmann holds a PhD in Business Administration(Dr. rer. oec.) from the University of Berne, Switzerland.

 

She is an Accredited Associate Mediator of the Singapore MediationCentre with an additional appointment to the SMC’s Family Panel of Mediators.She is also an accredited member of the Swiss umbrella organisation forMediation (FSM) and the Swiss Chamber of Commercial Mediation (SCCM). She isalso a Certified Executive Coach (ICF ACC). 

Further, she is co-heading SCCM’s B2B practice group and the Competence Center for Commercial Mediation inSwitzerland (commercialmediation.ch).

 

Beatrice is a lecturer, tutor and coach at the Programme on Negotiationat the University of Oxford's Saïd Business School and teaches at the Small CountriesFinancial Management Programme taking place in Oxford and on the Isle of Man.She holds workshops at the Institute for Systemic Development and FurtherEducation in Zurich and is a mentor at the University of St. Gallen’s AimingHigher Women’s Leadership Programme. Further she acts as an expert assessor andjudge at the ICC Paris Mediation Competetion, at the Bucerius MediationCompetition in Hamburg, and at the Consensual Dispute Resolution Competition (CDRC)in Vienna.

 

Beatrice is a very experienced consultant and advisor with her owncompanies in Switzerland and previously in Singapore. Over the last 25 years, she has worked across multiplejurisdictions, cultures, and industries. She works closely with senior management and intercultural, diverse teamsand has proven to be able to help clients go through transformations anddevelop their business.

 

She has managed projects for insurance companies, wealth managementadvisors, corporate and institutional banking providers as well as in the retail,IT, and hospitality industry. Before founding and managing hercompany in Singapore, Beatrice had worked for Accenture for the financialservices industry across Europe.

 

She regularily holds workshops and webinars on negotiation, conflictmanagement, difficult conversations, psychological safety, interculturalleadership, corporate culture and related leadership development topics, helping clients to improve negotiation and conflict resolutionskills and to develop the culture in organisations.

 

Beatrice coaches a diverse group of individual clients, enabling them to go through personal development and to grow themselves and their businesses further. She also acts as a mediator in conflict situations, supporting theparties in finding the best possible way forward.

 

One of her passions is to coach and support expats either new to acountry or returning home after an extended stay abroad.

 

She speaks English and German fluently and is able to communicate inFrench and Spanish. She also understands and speaks some Italian and a littlebit of Mandarin.
