Alena is a Director with PwC in its Forensics Middle East practice, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. She is a qualified Chartered Accountant and acts as an independent mediator, accounting expert witness and forensic accountant.

Alena has over 17 years of experience in the EMEA (Europe, the Middle East, and Africa) region and was involved in a number of complex disputes and pre-dispute cases, where she was engaged as expert in a determination role and in various mediations and negotiations of settlements between the parties. She assists clients on matters related to technical disagreements regarding quantification of claims, losses and damages, accounting treatment, accounting standards, financial reporting, key financial performance indicators, and M&A related disputes across various industries, including construction, hospitality, healthcare, oil & gas, manufacturing, and other.

She has a degree in economics, is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in the UK and is currently training to become an accredited mediator.
