Ahmed Adel Hawash is a qualified Egyptian lawyer with a developing specialization in mediation and alternative dispute resolution (ADR). He regards mediation as a practical and evolving tool for resolving legal conflicts, particularly in complex corporate and commercial disputes. Drawing on his legal training and hands-on experience, Ahmed bridges traditional legal practice with modern dispute resolution mechanisms, positioning himself as part of a new generation of professionals committed to fostering dialogue, efficiency, and fairness in the settlement of disputes.

He is currently a Junior Associate at Shura Law Firm for Advocacy and Arbitration, where he focuses on corporate law, commercial disputes, and data protection across the MENA region. Ahmed earned his LL.B. (English Section) from Ain Shams University and obtained his Master’s degree in Private Law from the same university in 2025.

Over the course of his career, he has worked with leading institutions and renowned entities, including Talaat Mostafa Group, the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones, and Eastern & Co., before joining Shura Law Firm. This diverse experience has enabled him to develop strong expertise in corporate and commercial matters, as well as in regulatory compliance, particularly data protection, where he has contributed to several high-profile compliance projects across the Arab world.

Ahmed has also been actively involved in litigation, arbitration, and mediation cases in Egypt, UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar, working as part of top-tier legal teams that achieved notable successes. He has participated in arbitration and mediation proceedings before respected institutions such as CRCICA, SCCA, and DIAC, and has contributed to mediation-related initiatives with WIPO.

As a strong advocate of ADR, Ahmed is an active member of WIPO and CIArb, and he holds a professional certificate from McKinsey’s Forward Program, which enhanced his negotiation and conflict management skills and complemented his professional practice.
