John Heath

John Heath is a seasoned legal professional and business leader with more than two decades of experience at the intersection of law, business, and technology. Born and raised in Sandy, Utah, he developed a strong work ethic and a commitment to relationship building early in life, influenced by his father’s career in commission sales and his mother’s work as an elementary school teacher. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Utah, along with a minor in History and a certificate in International Relations. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor from Ohio Northern University School of Law, where he accelerated his studies to graduate in just two and a half years. During law school, he participated in a summer abroad program in Cairo, Egypt, studying Islamic law, international trade law, and international criminal law through Seton Hall University. He was admitted to the Utah Bar shortly after graduation. Subsequently, John received his Master of Business Administration degree from Southern Utah University. John has since taken his mediation training at the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University.

For the past 20 years, John has led a practice at Lexington Law Firm focusing in consumer credit. Under his leadership, the practice has successfully leveraged the convergence of legal expertise, business strategy, regulatory management and technology to scale and innovate within the industry. Outside of his professional work, John is actively engaged in community and global initiatives. He has served on the board of his local Red Cross chapter, contributed to a foundation supporting the development of a boxing gym in South Jordan, Utah, and sits on the board of a legal publishing and events company with operations in Dubai and Cairo. An avid traveler, he also enjoys golfing and snow skiing.
