Mohammed Mahmoud Lotfi
Mohammed Mahmoud is an Egyptian legal professional and LL.B. graduate from the Faculty of Law, English Section, Assiut University, with a strong interest in International Arbitration, Mediation, Construction Disputes, Corporate Law, and Intellectual Property Law.
Mohammed is a Student Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), a Young ICCA Member, and a Mentee in the sixth cycle of the CIArb Egypt Mentoring Programme, where he is mentored by Dr. Hadeel Hasan FCiarb, with Eng. Ahmed El Araby MCiarb serving as his Mentor Supporter. He is also a Volunteer with The Mediation Hub MENA and participated in the WIF Mediation Competition, further developing his interest in mediation, negotiation, and ADR.
Mohammed has gained practical legal experience through his training at Shield Advocates, where he worked on legal research relating to Corporate Law and Intellectual Property Law, including corporate matters, trademark registration, and trademark-related disputes. He is also set to undertake a Professional Diploma in Legal English under the supervision of Dr. Asser Harb, Vice President of the Egyptian State Council.
His academic and practical interests extend to international arbitration, including investment arbitration, mediation in construction disputes, corporate law, commercial transactions, and emerging issues at the intersection of technology and dispute resolution. He has also engaged in arbitration-related legal research and contributed to legal publications addressing contemporary issues in arbitration and ADR.
Through his involvement with The Mediation Hub MENA, Mohammed aims to deepen his practical understanding of mediation, engage with experienced ADR practitioners, and contribute to promoting mediation as an effective mechanism for resolving commercial and construction disputes.
