Mohamed Gobba
Mohamed is a qualified Egyptian lawyer with a developing focus on mediation and alternative dispute resolution (ADR). He views mediation as a practical and evolving
approach to resolving legal conflicts, particularly in corporate disputes, employment matters, and construction-related issues, where early settlement and structured dialogue can lead to more efficient and cost-effective outcomes.
He began his legal career in litigation and arbitration, where he gained hands-on experience handling disputes before CRCICA and working closely with legal teams on complex commercial cases. This background laid the foundation for his shift toward more collaborative dispute resolution methods.
He currently works as a Junior Associate at ICO Law Firm, where he’s gaining experience handling a range of legal matters. Earlier in his career, Mohamed worked with
the legal team at NACITA, where he got involved in compliance work and collaborated with in-house counsels trained by the Financial Regulatory Authority.
He holds an LL.B. from Cairo University and an LL.M. in Public Law and Economics from Alexandria University, where his research explored dispute resolution methods
under the supervision of respected professors.
Mohamed is particularly interested in the role of mediation in the MENA region, especially when it comes to commercial, family business, and partnership disputes. He believes in the value of early settlement, negotiation, and finding common ground as part of a modern legal practice .
He’s continuing to learn and develop in the field, with a focus on making dispute resolution more accessible, practical, and culturally relevant.
