Ludovic Pessot is an independent mediator based in Paris, appointed to the DIFC Courts Panel of Mediators (Dubai) and IMI Certified. Among many other institutions, he trained as a mediator at Harvard's Project on Negotiation and at the Center for Understanding in Conflict with Gary Friedman. He mediates complex multiparty and project disputes — construction and infrastructure, joint ventures, shareholder and partner conflict, and disputes arising within long-term contracts and major programmes. He works in French, English and Spanish, across civil and common law settings.

He is accredited before the French administrative courts, is a member of the IOA (International Ombuds Association), its European chapter, the OEM and a working member of the IMI's Mediation Public Policy Committee.

Ludovic came to mediation from business. He spent 10 years in corporate finance and change management consultancy, founded and led a food retail company, and was elected to the strategic committees — IT, Finance and Means — of its co-operative group. He knows from the inside how partners fall out, how governance seizes up, and how commercial and relational issues become inseparable.

He teaches negotiation and mediation at Sciences Po Paris and trains mediators at the Institut Catholique de Paris and the Notary National Council, and has written on mediation in Le Monde and Harvard Business Review France
