Larry C. Anthony, J.D., is a mediator and arbitrator based in Dallas, Texas, in the United States of America with a robust background in alternative dispute resolution (ADR).

As the co-founder of Islamic Arbitration and Mediation Services (IAMS), he specializes in providing culturally sensitive conflict resolution, particularly within the Muslim community. His expertise encompasses family law, business disputes, and faith-based mediation.

Mr. Anthony holds a Juris Doctor from UNT Dallas College of Law and a bachelor's degree in political science and history, with a minor in Arabic, from Southern Methodist University. His academic pursuits included studies in the Middle East, enriching his understanding of cross-cultural dynamics. Over the past decade, he has served in various legal capacities, including roles as a student attorney, law clerk, and paralegal, and has successfully mediated over 100 cases.

Additionally, Mr. Anthony has studied with religious scholars in the classical Islamic sciences, particularly Maliki Islamic law, and applied it to his ADR practice.

A two-time U.S. Armed Forces veteran, Mr. Anthony served in the U.S. Navy and the Texas Army National Guard, with deployment during the Iraqi Freedom Campaign from 2007 to 2008.

Mr. Anthony’s practice is expanding internationally, and he is pursuing a Diploma in International Commercial Arbitration to further strengthen the credibility of his services as IAMS branches out globally. His professional affiliations include membership in the Texas Association of Mediators, the Academy of Professional Family

Mediators, and the National Association of Certified Mediators. He also serves as a public arbitrator for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and is a certified mediator for the Texas Department of Insurance.
