Julufa Islam Choudhuryis a Triple Accredited International Mediator (IMI, CMC & SIMI) and contracts specialist with over 10 years of legal experience spanninglitigation, commercial law, and construction contracts.

She holds a B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and an LL.M. in Criminology, graduating as a Gold Medalist. Prior to relocating to the UAE, Julufa practiced as an Advocate in India, gaining extensive experience in litigation, dispute management, and advocacy. Earlier in her career, she worked with legal advocacy organisations on public interest litigation and legal research, and served as a Part-Time Lecturer at Jamia Millia Islamia and Consultant with IGNOU's School of Law —roles that strengthened her expertise in legal analysis, negotiation, advocacy, communication, and consensus-building, skills that continue to underpin her approach to mediation and dispute resolution.

Drivenby a genuine passion for helping parties resolve conflicts constructively, Julufa is internationally accredited by the International Mediation Institute(IMI), the Civil Mediation Council (CMC), and the Singapore International Mediation Institute (SIMI). She believes that effective mediation extendsbeyond resolving disputes; it preserves relationships, encourages collaboration, and delivers practical, sustainable, and mutually beneficialoutcomes. This philosophy lies at the heart of her mediation practice.

Currentlya Legal and Contracts Manager in the UAE construction industry, she managescomplex, high-value contractual portfolios with a focus on risk management anddispute avoidance. Over the past decade in the UAE, she has developed deepexpertise in FIDIC Red Book contract administration, contractor-side claims,extensions of time, variations, and commercial settlements, alongside broaderexperience in UAE commercial and financial disputes.

Hercombination of litigation experience, contract administration expertise, andmediation skills allows her to approach disputes practically — helping clientsnavigate conflict with professionalism, impartiality, and solutions thatprotect their interests while preserving long-term relationships.
