Dr. Eman Mostafa Mansour

Dr. Eman Mostafa Mansour has 26 years of practical experience in the legal and Investment fields, including, Criminal law, Commercial Law, Investment laws. She had her PHD form Cairo University, Egypt, on the Criminal Mediation with the grade (Excellent with honor).

In her capacity as a Director of GAFI Investors’ Dispute Settlement Center (IDSC), Dr. Mansour contributes deeply in the establishment of the Center and in the drafting of its rules and regulation. (IDSC) is the first institutional center of mediation in Egypt. Under the auspice of the Minister of Investment, Dr. Mansour organized, with the support of the world Bank, several workshops for the Introduction of the mediation in Egypt.

Dr Mansour contributes with the Ministry of Justice in the drafting process of the mediation law in Egypt. She also, participated in preparing a draft law for participation in international conferences and representing Egypt at the United Nations Committee on International Trade Law. She also contributes in preparing conferences and giving lectures on mediation to spread awareness of the culture and importance of amicable settlement of disputes. This practical experience is also supplemented by some academic research and studies.

Dr. Eman Mansour has many researches and economic studies in her capacity as the head of the policy advocacy sector at the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones, where the sector has issued 350 economic studies, reports and working papers over 3 years, which served as a realistic mirror for evaluating the steps and policies taken with regard to investment and aimed at assisting decision-makers and decision makers. On making decisions and proposing solutions to remove obstacles that contribute to the development of the investment file, in addition, she has three published books entitled "The Art of Mediation, "Criminal Mediation" and“ The ABCs Of Mediation”, also, some articles on mediation and its importance published in the Arab Arbitration Magazine and other magazines.
