Ahmed Rabie Mohamed Hassan

Dr. Ahmed Rabie is an Assistant Professor of Civil Law at Al-Azhar University (Egypt) and the Dubai Police Academy (UAE), and a Chevening Fellow at the University of Oxford. His work focuses on the intersection of Islamic jurisprudence, civil law, and family dispute resolution. He has over eight years of practical experience in mediation through his work with the Al-Azhar Global Fatwa Center, where he has been actively involved in resolving complex marital disputes and providing religious and legal guidance. Dr. Rabie has contributed to international academic discussions on family law and mediation, including delivering presentations at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law and at Ibn Khaldun University. His research and practice emphasize the integration of Islamic legal principles with contemporary mediation approaches in family law.
